Open Society Institute Deliverables
The Champaign-Urbana Community Wireless Network (CUWiN) has been developing open-source, dynamic, mesh wireless networking software since 2000. Beginning in 2004, the Open Society Institute began supporting CUWiN's efforts -- allowing CUWiN to make substantial progress. CUWiN's first deliverable, delivered July 1, 2004, focused on initial software development (including route visualization, HSLS and ETX modules, and kernel development).
The second deliverable focuses on the implementation of ETX, HSLS, route visualization and kernel development.
