We postponed RADIX_MPATH's completion until July 3rd as we dealt with more pressing kernel development needs. We found that the WiFi device driver used with the Atheros radios in our testbed required maintenance and bug-fixing; the RADIX_MPATH tasks could not be completed until these issues were addressed. A side-effect of this surprise was our construction of a diagnostic utility, wlanctl(8), which will appear in the NetBSD open-source operating system. It is available now in our SourceForge repository at
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/wireless/cuw-trunk/src/net80211-sysctl/.
Very little work remains for us to start using the RADIX_MPATH patches. They have been integrated and modified for our uses; now NetBSD's arplookup(9) subroutine needs to be adapted to take advantage. This work will be completed by July 3.
