This document combines the Hardware, User, and Reference manuals that will be deliverable to OSI into a single indexed HTML file. This version of this document is an initial draft/outline of the final documentation for the CUWiN software being developed for OSI. The final documentation is due on March 1, 2005. Final documentation will contain deeper and more detailed usage examples built from users' and developers' experience with the first full release of the software. Final documentation will be formatted in an XML format which will make it easy to create print-ready PostScript files as well as online HTML documentation. Final documentation will include photographs and diagrams.
This is meant to be the one stop shopping guide to the CUWiN project. This document, when finalized, will provide all the pointers neccessary for a new developer or new user to get involved with the project and to be self-sufficient in deploying the software.
There are several points in this document where it links to extensive developer documentation that is in the constant process of being revised. In the final version of this document that developer documentation will be integrated with the full document rather than being linked to.
Note: Because our software does not yet have a final name, it is herein refered to as CUWiNware. This name is easily globally replaced when a final name is selected.
